Free rooftop fado, queue for the shower

Good: The terrace at dusk with honesty-bar beers and someone's guitar is what €300 rooftop bars are impersonating. The family running it remembered all four of our names by day two.
Bad: Four showers for a full house means the 9am queue is a social event you didn't RSVP to, and August with fans instead of AC tested our friendship with the building.
Verdict: Backpacker groups should book the top-floor dorm and lean in; anyone needing private bathrooms and cool air has outgrown this price bracket.
