A month of remote work in a rope factory. Zero regrets.

Good: Five-meter ceilings, a desk with real light, fiber internet that never blinked, and three taprooms downstairs for clocking off. January rate was outright theft in my favor.
Bad: Marvila on a Sunday is post-apocalyptically quiet, and every postcard-Lisbon evening means a 15-minute ride each way — romantic spontaneity dies out here.
Verdict: Remote workers and space-starved couples should take a month; first-time three-day visitors should stay central and just visit the breweries.
