Volcano views upstairs, wedding bass downstairs

Good
The 7am rooftop swim with Popocatépetl on the horizon is a genuine only-here moment, and the doormen were the warmest people in the building.
Bad
Nobody mentioned the Saturday wedding when we booked: bass until 1am, and a breakfast priced like it connected through Polanco. At this rate the flaws bill by the hour.
Verdict
Fine for travelers on someone else's card who confirm the events calendar; value-minded couples get 80% of this at Casa Volcán for half.
