The taco crawl pays for the whole stay

Good: The staff-led taco crawl was the best $0 addition to any hostel stay I've had — six stands we'd never have found, ordered for us in rapid Spanish. Rooftop hammock, cathedral view, seventeen dollars.
Bad: The showers are, as advertised, sincere rather than powerful, and the Centro's church bells plus street vendors mean 7am is not a suggestion.
Verdict: Social budget travelers should base here without hesitation; anyone needing water pressure and mornings off should look to Roma Norte.
