Monte dei Cocci Hostel

Hostel · Testaccio · Rome

8.2from 460 ratings

Named for the hill of ancient amphora shards it sits beside, this is the hostel for people who came to Rome to eat. The staff run a weekly carbonara night, the market is two blocks away, and the Centro is a 20-minute walk or one metro stop. Dorms are clean but tightly packed, and the nightclub row along the old slaughterhouse thumps until late on weekends — light sleepers should take the courtyard side.
