Il Terrazzo del Pantheon

Centro StoricoRome

7.1

You have seen this terrace on every feed: candlelit tables, the Pantheon's portico filling the frame, a violinist on retainer. The view earns every pixel. The kitchen, however, is coasting — a €24 cacio e pepe that Trastevere beats at half the price, and service that has stopped needing to try. Come once for a spritz at golden hour, pay the view tax with eyes open, and eat dinner somewhere that still has something to prove.

A €24 cacio e pepe with a violinist accomplice

Good
The view is honestly 10/10 — the Pantheon's portico filling the frame at golden hour is worth one slow spritz at the rail.
Bad
The cacio e pepe arrived clumped and lukewarm at €24 while the violinist provided cover, and our waiter had visibly stopped needing to try sometime around 2019. Trastevere does this dish better at half the price, daily.
Verdict
Come once, drink one aperitivo at golden hour, pay the view tax with open eyes, and eat dinner at any trattoria still hungry for your return visit.
